Tip: Usernames must be unique across the entire ReadTheory platform.

Entering Full Names

If you're unable to input a student’s full name, it may be due to data privacy requirements.

To comply with COPPA and FERPA, ReadTheory restricts first name entry for students identified as under age 13.

Workaround: You can create a new class and certify that all students are 13 or older. This will unlock the ability to input full names.
