Set Up a Student Profile with a Parent Account 👨‍👩‍👧

A ReadTheory Parent Account lets you create and manage a student profile for your child to practice reading comprehension independently.

While the student account functions like any other—quizzes, points, and progress tracking included—you'll be the one setting it up and managing access.

You can sign up using Single Sign-On (SSO) with Google, Microsoft, Clever, or Classlink.

🔐 Note: Your username will automatically be your email address when using SSO.

Create an account manually by entering a username and password of your choice, then click Sign Up.

Important Notes:

  • A parent account can only be used to create one student account.

  • Only one email address can be associated with each student account.

📌 Want to monitor your child’s progress more closely?
We recommend creating a teacher account instead. This allows you to view reports, assign activities, and connect using a class code or email address.
