### What does Unenrolling do?

Unenrolling a student removes their connection to your class. Their account stays active, but it's no longer tracked by you as their teacher.

This is different from archiving a student, which disables the account entirely until it's restored. See [Archiving Students](https://help.readtheory.org/archiving-students?hsLang=en) for that option.
