Creating a student account is quick and simple, and it gives students access to adaptive quizzes, instant feedback, and progress tracking. Whether signing up at home or in class, students can get started right away and connect to their teacher’s classroom if needed.

What Is a Student Account?
A student account gives learners access to ReadTheory’s personalized reading comprehension program. With their account, students can:

Track progress and earn Knowledge Points over time
This account type is designed to support students as they build essential reading skills.
How to Create a Student Account
Getting started is quick and easy! Students can join ReadTheory in just a few quick steps:

Go to the student sign-up page using this link. You’ll be brought to the sign-up screen, shown below:
- You can sign up using Single Sign-On (SSO) with Google, Microsoft, Clever, or Classlink.

Create an account manually by entering a username and password of your choice, then click Sign Up.
🔐 Note: If using SSO, your username will automatically be your email address.
Entering a Class Code (Optional)
If your teacher gave you a Class Code, enter it in the “Class Code” box during sign-up to connect to their classroom automatically. 🎓
Didn’t enter a Class Code during sign-up? No problem!
You can always connect to your teacher later by entering their class code from your student dashboard.
